Our approach to the environment and resources is madness!
If climate change and CO2 really a global problem? If so, then why are taxpayers' money as in Germany nine years old cars, often with a catalyst - destroyed.
In many, many countries in the world, these cars of the economically and ecologically last "cry"! And these countries, we need not look far away from us, a few kilometers to the east and we are already there. Not to mention countries like Egypt, where the average age and thus the technology of the vehicles 30 years and older. Have you ever looked in Cairo sunset? Thanks automotive dirt, the sun was two to three hours before the red ball and disappears early hours behind high mountains, which are called "smog".
The only sensible thing would be to the owners of "old" cars in Austria, a professional and legal exploitation opportunity for these countries to offer.
